Project Resources:
1x Scrum Master
1x Senior IT Consultant
1x Solution Architect
Challenge
It was critical for the consultant to understand the incumbent workflows and the existing data flows. The consultant had to work with diverse teams to get the project completed on time.
Technical challenge was to integrate in short time number of on premise banking systems.
Solution
Our Consultants worked with cross-functional teams from the client and concluded Scrum meetings to disseminate as well as receive knowledge. A knowledge bank was set up along with our best practices to allow both teams to share knowledge.
We helped the client by suggesting revisions in the incumbent architecture while working with the TNT platform architects. Integration patterns for Cast Iron and ETL platforms were developed using IBM Infosphere DataStage and QualityStage.
Result
The project was completed within the timelines. Due to the knowledge transfer between both teams, the efficiency of the client team improved by 20%. The knowledge bank has since been enhanced by the client and remains an essential storehouse of knowledge about migration projects.
Initially, we were sceptical about how the project would pan out. However, within the first week itself, the teams had initiated discussions and had started working on the migration. After that, it was smooth sailing, and our team had gained critical knowledge due to the frequent interactions with the Actinolix team.
